Lisa Dobie

Lisa has developed a practice in all areas of Chambers' work, namely personal injury, professional negligence, clinical negligence, contract, property, and travel. Lisa acts for both claimants and defendants and advises and represents the police in civil actions. She is regularly instructed in small claims hearings through to multi track trials, and has experience of inquests and employment tribunals. Lisa is also a sub C panellist for the Attorney General (Civil - baby barrister scheme) and is an accredited FRU Rep (Free Representation Unit) in employment law.

Lisa came to the Bar with a First Class degree in Law from the University of Leeds and was awarded an exhibition prize by Inner Temple. Prior to commencing her pupillage Lisa worked as an ICAS advocate (Independent Complaints Advocacy Service) throughout all North West London NHS Trusts and PCT's, which involved dealing with formal NHS complaints from a local level through to Parliamentary Ombudsmen level.
