Ian Miller

Ian specialises in personal injury, housing/landlord and tenant, property and commercial/contractual disputes.

He has expertise in claims concerning employers' and public liability, highways and travel. He also has extensive experience of claims involving local authorities and NHS Trusts including most recently, those arising out of PFI contracts. 

Ian's housing/landlord and tenant practice involves acting for local authorities, housing associations, private landlords and tenants in relation to commercial and residential tenances. 

He is authorised to accept instructions under the Public Access Scheme. In addition to his advocacy and advisory work and regularly gives talks on these areas. Ian is a contributor to 'Advanced Civil Litigation in Practice' (3rd ed. Oxford University Press 2005) and has a number of quantum judgments published in Kemp & Kemp.
