Recommended as a leading junior in the clinical negligence and professional negligence sections of the current edition of The Legal 500, Angus specialises in professional and clinical negligence, education negligence, personal injury, insurance matters, contractual litigation and regulatory work.

Angus represents accountants, architects, barristers, doctors, engineers, financial advisors, insurance brokers, surveyors, teachers and valuers.  He also acts for a number of local authorities and NHS Trusts. 

Angus is flexible and will happily travel for Conferences as required.  His advocacy skills have been demonstrated in a wide variety of cases before judges and tribunals ranging from the Masters’ Corridor to the Court of Appeal, and from the GMC, RICS and ACCA to the Jockey Club/HRA, as well as in County Courts nationwide.

He has extensive ADR experience (having acted in mediations, arbitrations and on adjudications), and he has particular expertise in high value personal injury claims, having appeared in Eagle v Chambers which raised several novel issues with regard to the quantification of such claims.  

Angus is a contributor to 'Local Authority Liability' 4th Edition (Morrell and Foster).
